Michelle + Dave, tattooed wedding madness
And I don't just mean Michelle and Dave - even their cake had a tattoo topper and they gave out temp tattoos that commemorated their love. I had the pleasure of photographing Michelle and Dave's wedding with Miss Photography by KLC this December, and oh man, WHAT a wedding. The venue, the bridal party, the guests, the atmo, and of course, the bride and the groom - it was just perfect. To give you an idea... meet Meesh and Dave:
Meesh and Dave got ready at the Hotel Marlowe in Cambridge, and man, I didn't even know there was a hotel this cool on the East Coast. Incredible art everywhere, the cushy yellow and red walls and the furniture shellacked with maps. Not to mention, the sprinkling of leopard print everything.
Mr. Groom, showing off his ink.
I LOVED this girl's elephant. It was pretty amazing.
And dad. Michelle's dad wore a little charm with tiny bells attached to it that said:
No one ever explained to me what that meant...
Dave, anxiously waiting his first look:
I could not get enough of this wall.
Isn't she just too adorable?
Now, if you ever want to meet a trooper of a bride, just talk to Michelle. It snowed all day on her wedding, and not only did she tromp around outside in the snow in her leopard print high-heels before her ceremony, but she didn't even wear a wrap or jacket for most of it! That's dedication :)
This series of three I just love. Demure, beautiful Michelle:
Sassy, crazy Michelle:
Beautiful, natural Michelle. My favorite :)
And then, here's Dave being huddled by the bridal party to stay warm:
This is Dave's dad, an his BAMF walking cane:
And as if Hotel Marlowe wasn't cool enough, THIS was their venue. It's the gorgeous Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center, most of the original work from when it was built in the 1800s.
Michelle's awesome made of honor, dealing with her son:
And, you know, in case any of the inkless guests felt left out, Meesh and Dave very considerately provided temp tats for the guests to apply, well, wherever :)
